Sea Global will double its resort portfolio this year, adding eight
ultra-luxury properties across its AMAALA
precinct. New openings include Nammos Resort, The Ritz-Carlton Resort, Rosewood
Resort, Six Senses, Four Seasons, Clinique La Prairie Health Resort, Jayasom
Wellness Resort, and Equinox Resorts. Most resorts offer overwater or
beachfront experiences.
The company currently operates eight properties, including The Red Sea EDITION, Nujuma, The St. Regis Red Sea Resort, Six Senses Southern Dunes, SLS The Red Sea, InterContinental The Red Sea Resort, Shebara, and Desert Rock. By 2026, Red Sea Global aims to expand its room inventory to 3,000 to accommodate an estimated 300,000 visitors.

Turki Alshalawi, Senior Manager – Travel Trade,
highlighted the destination’s appeal, with more than 90 pristine islands, coral
reefs, sand dunes, volcanoes, and mountains. “People compare us to the
Maldives, Seychelles, and Mauritius, but we also have rugged terrain and
year-round temperatures averaging 32°C,” he said.
The Red Sea is accessible via Red Sea International Airport, about an hour from most resorts, offering flights from Dubai, Doha, Milan, and the Maldives, with luggage delivered directly to hotel rooms for a private-jet style experience.

Sustainability is central to the projects, which occupy just 1% of the 28,000-square-kilometre area, run entirely on renewable energy, and aim to prevent overtourism.
