Saudi Arabia: AlUla to host International Endurance Race with riders from 12 countries

Saudi Arabia: Over 200 riders to participate in upcoming International Endurance Race in AlUla  

AlUla Governorate will host the Saudi Arabian Olympic and Paralympic Committee Endurance Cup on Saturday at AlFursan Equestrian Village, with the participation of 200 male and female riders representing 12 countries.

The event is organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Equestrian Federation. It includes a flagship 120-kilometer international endurance race (CEI2*), divided into four stages, alongside a 100-kilometer international race (CEI1*). Two additional local races over distances of 40 and 80 kilometers will also be held.

Veterinary inspections of participating horses and a mandatory briefing for riders on race regulations and safety procedures are scheduled for Friday. The competitions will begin at dawn on Saturday.

Endurance events in AlUla continue to attract strong international participation, thanks to their high organizational standards, striking natural landscapes, and the region’s deep-rooted equestrian heritage.
