Diriyah Company sets Guinness World Record for its largest safety lesson
Diriyah Company has officially set a Guinness World
Record for organizing the largest construction safety lesson, with 2,864
workers participating in a single session at the Wadi Safar development, one of
Diriyah’s flagship masterplans.
The record-breaking event was held in
collaboration with Al-Rashid Trading & Contracting Company (RTCC) and forms
part of Diriyah Company’s broader commitment to health, safety, and excellence
in project delivery. A formal certification ceremony took place at the
company’s headquarters, attended by Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah
Company, and official representatives from Guinness World Records.

Conducted by a single safety instructor, the
30-minute lesson focused on the “Top Five Critical Safety Hazards in the
Construction Industry.” Tailored to the daily realities of on-site teams, the
session underscored key safety protocols and the vital role each individual
plays in maintaining a secure working environment. This initiative is part of
the company’s comprehensive Occupational Health, Safety, and Security program,
which includes ongoing site assessments and continued training for both
employees and contractors.
To facilitate this large-scale safety event, a custom-built
outdoor venue with a specially designed stage was constructed at Wadi Safar. A structured
entry and exit system using dedicated gates ensured precise attendance tracking
and compliance with Guinness World Records’ criteria.
“This achievement reflects our steadfast
commitment to the well-being of every individual working across the Diriyah
project,” said Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO of Diriyah Company. “Bringing
together nearly 3,000 workers in Wadi Safar, an area covering over 62 square
kilometers, demonstrates the strength of our safety-first culture and our
belief that everyone deserves to return home safely each day.”
