Saudi Arabia's Red Sea Global (RSG) has celebrated the graduation of the fourth cohort of its Red Sea Vocational Training Program, with 386 Saudi trainees completing the programme aimed at preparing national talent for careers in the tourism and hospitality sector.

The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, and attended on his behalf by Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah.

The graduates completed training in airport services, luxury hospitality, and health and wellness tourism operations after a 27-month programme that included English language instruction, vocational education, and practical training. About 35 percent of the graduates are from the local region.

The programme, launched in 2021 by Red Sea Global in collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), is implemented in partnership with Bunyan Academy, Batterjee Colleges, and the Airports Academy. It is designed to prepare Saudi nationals for employment in the Kingdom's growing tourism sector.

Group Chief Administrative Officer Ahmad G. Darwish said the programme reflects the success of public-private partnerships in developing national talent and preparing young Saudis for careers that support the country's tourism ambitions.

According to Red Sea Global, more than 2,400 young Saudis have benefited from its education and training initiatives since their launch, while over 1,500 have graduated. More than 900 students are currently enrolled across the company's education programmes.

Director General of the Human Resources Development Fund Turki bin Abdullah Al-Juwaini said the partnership with Red Sea Global is a successful national model for linking vocational training with employment opportunities, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
