Port of NEOM and NAL Foods to explore opportunities to facilitate movement of grain
Port of NEOM
has entered into a new collaboration with NAL Foods aimed at strengthening
regional food security by exploring the development of inbound feed and grain
supply chains serving Tabuk and northwest Saudi Arabia.
The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to
establishing stable and diversified supply networks that support the Kingdom's
long-term food security objectives while enhancing the resilience of
agricultural and livestock supply chains.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will explore
opportunities to facilitate the movement of feed and grain commodities into the
region through Port of NEOM, leveraging the port's strategic location on the

Port of NEOM's connectivity to major global supply
markets—including South America, Europe, Russia, Australia and South
Asia—positions it as a key gateway for importing essential agricultural
commodities. Its cargo-handling capabilities, which accommodate bulk, general
cargo and containerized shipments, provide the flexibility needed to support
growing regional demand.
The collaboration is expected to provide NAL Foods with
reliable access to critical feed and grain supplies, supporting livestock
farming, agriculture and food production across northwest Saudi Arabia. Port of
NEOM's inland logistics network and developing multimodal infrastructure are
also expected to strengthen the efficient distribution of essential commodities
throughout the region.
The partnership aligns with Port of NEOM's broader
strategy to expand its infrastructure and operational capacity while enhancing
regional connectivity and supply chain resilience. It also supports Saudi
Arabia's long-term efforts to reinforce food security and build a more
diversified and sustainable agricultural supply chain.
