'AlUla Future Culture Summit' to tackle crucial issues within the cultural sector 

The "AlUla Future Culture Summit" (FCS) is set to convene  approximately 150 leaders, decision-makers, entrepreneurs, and artists from across the globe from February 25 to 27.

The FCS aims to tackle crucial issues within the cultural sector and explore avenues for enhancing its role as a driver of social progress and positive change in the years ahead. Organized by the Royal Commission for AlUla in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the summit encompasses a series of discussions, workshops, and interactive presentations. Its primary objective is to explore innovative strategies for fostering broad participation and making a substantial impact through art, culture, and associated industries.

The FCS program is structured into three main sessions. The initial session, dubbed "The Rich Foundation," is geared towards fostering innovation and revitalization in culture, aiming to delve into the essence and requirements of culture while establishing a harmonious connection with the environment.

The second session, titled "The Creative Land," seeks to facilitate a shift towards global creativity and cross-cultural dialogue, focusing on cultural economic development policies and supporting creative entrepreneurship. The final session, "Harvest of Impact," concentrates on cultivating comprehensive culture and community empowerment, examining global cultural production and its effects on local cultures.

In addition to immersing themselves in the natural and cultural splendor of AlUla, participants of this cultural gathering will have the opportunity to enjoy various artistic performances. The lineup includes celebrated Saudi artist Balqees Alrashed, the Spanish theater ensemble La Fura dels Baus, and the talented Nigerian-British poet and writer Inua Ellams.
