assets at Bashayer event
Diriyah Company unveiled the second phase of its masterplan
during the two-day Bashayer event, a crucial annual moment that outlines the
progress and future development of Diriyah. Jerry Inzerillo, the Group CEO,
emphasized that the event marks the transition into the delivery phase of
Diriyah's masterplan.
On the second day of the event, Diriyah Company introduced
new culture and hospitality assets, including Diriyah Art Futures, the Royal
Diriyah Opera House, and Bab Samhan, a luxury hotel. Groundbreaking ceremonies
were conducted for four new hotels inspired by Najdi architecture: the
Ritz-Carlton, the Address, the Capella, and the Four Seasons.

Diriyah Art Futures, touted as the first new-media-arts
center in the area, is envisioned as a vibrant hub for creative production and
exchange. Designed by Italian firm Schiattarella Associati, the center
integrates nature into its architecture, aligning with the Ministry of Culture
and Diriyah Company's commitment to preserving Saudi Arabia's heritage while
fostering creative expression.
The Royal Diriyah Opera House, designed according to Najdi
architectural style and global sustainability standards, aims to position
Diriyah as a global hub of culture and creativity.

The groundbreaking ceremony also included the Bab Samhan
Luxury Collection hotel, showcasing more than 40 planned hotels in Diriyah's
masterplan. Bab Samhan, constructed entirely from mud in the Najdi style, will
feature 106 standard rooms, 28 suites, and one royal suite. The hotel offers
various facilities, including a lobby lounge, ballrooms, meeting rooms, a spa
with an indoor swimming pool, a gym, and dining options, including a restaurant
operated by celebrity chef Michael Mina.
Diriyah Co. has demonstrated its commitment to
sustainability by revitalizing over six kilometers of Wadi Hanifah, restocking
the ancient valley with native flora and fauna. Inzerillo highlighted the
readiness to welcome visitors from around the world, with millions expected to
experience Diriyah Season by the time Ramadan arrives. The company's dedication
to heritage preservation, sustainability, and cultural development is evident
in the ongoing transformation of Diriyah.
