NEOM to prepare Saudi nationals for careers in green hydrogen

NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) and the Energy & Water Academy (EWA) have launched a strategic partnership to offer a cutting-edge vocational training program designed to prepare Saudi nationals for careers in the green hydrogen sector. This initiative marks the first specialized green hydrogen training program in the Kingdom.

The comprehensive training, which began in August at EWA's facilities in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, aims to address the increasing need for skilled professionals in green hydrogen. Supported by the Saudi Human Resources Development Fund, the program will provide both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of green hydrogen technology.

NGHC is poised to become the world’s largest green hydrogen producer by the end of 2026. As part of its commitment to advancing the green hydrogen industry, NGHC is investing in the education and development of a highly skilled workforce in Saudi Arabia. This partnership supports Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals, which include becoming a global leader in renewable energy and clean hydrogen production.
