NEOM McLaren Electric Racing unveils new livery in London
NEOM McLaren Electric Racing has
unveiled a dynamic new livery ahead of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship
season finale in London, set for July 26–27. Created in collaboration with
Oxagon, NEOM’s reimagined industrial city, the design blends bold, vibrant
tones inspired by Oxagon’s identity with McLaren’s iconic papaya orange,
bringing a fresh visual identity to the team’s race cars, helmets, and driver
suits.
The reveal took place at McLaren
Racing’s “Never Stop Racing” event in Trafalgar Square, London — a celebration
of motorsport, innovation, and fan engagement. The new design has been dubbed
the team’s “away kit,” representing not just a stylistic refresh but also a
deeper connection to the vision of Oxagon and its role in NEOM’s
transformation.

A key initiative born of this
collaboration is the Oxagon x McLaren Accelerator Program, launched in 2023 to
support deep-tech startups. Two successful cohorts have completed the 12-week
program, with several pilot projects already underway in NEOM and broader
commercial opportunities emerging across Saudi Arabia.
In 2024 alone, four of the seven
participating startups were selected to pilot technologies in critical areas
such as health and safety, worker wellbeing, robotic container handling, and
condition-based maintenance at Oxagon’s port.
