NEOM McLaren unveils fresh livery for Season 10

NEOM McLaren Formula E Team has joined the ranks of teams revealing their season 10 livery, with an exciting display of their fresh design in preparation for the upcoming pre-season test in Valencia next week.

On a recent Tuesday afternoon, McLaren took the wraps off their new look, which now proudly showcases a full papaya and black color scheme. Light blue, present in the team's season nine livery, has made way for the design's alignment with the 'NEOM McLaren Electric Racing signature linework.'

The prominent papaya color serves as a clear emblem connecting the team to the larger McLaren Racing family, presenting a more striking and confident appearance for the 2023/24 season. Jake Hughes, who returns to the team, and the newly signed Sam Bird, are eager to pilot this stunning design to the forefront of the grid during the upcoming campaign.

Hughes is embarking on his sophomore Formula E season, having had an impressive rookie year. The only accolade missing from his debut season was a podium finish, despite securing two pole positions and multiple top-five placements. Hughes is determined to step onto the rostrum in season 10.

Sam Bird joins NEOM McLaren for Season 10 of Formula E

Sam Bird, who has transitioned to McLaren from Jaguar TCS Racing, is set to replace René Rast. Bird aims for a strong comeback after an underwhelming three-year stint with Jaguar. Bird's reputation as one of the quickest drivers on the grid when at his best bodes well for McLaren. His experience could prove invaluable to the team's progress in the category, and Jake Hughes may also benefit from learning alongside his new teammate.

Team Principal Ian James eagerly anticipates the new season's commencement and looks forward to witnessing the new livery in action, starting in Valencia next week. He stated, "As we prepare to go racing in our second season in Formula E, we are building on everything we learned in Season 9. We are continually evolving as a team, and this livery represents that. I can't wait to see the car with this new livery on track at all the iconic locations we will be visiting in Season 10."
