Neom McLaren confirms Alex Dunne will join Berlin Formula E Rookie test
The NEOM McLaren Formula E Team has confirmed that rising Irish star Alex Dunne will join the line-up for the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Rookie Test at the Berlin E-Prix on Monday, 14 July. He will drive alongside fellow McLaren Driver Development Programme member, Ella Lloyd.
Dunne, who began his single-seater career in 2021 with a podium finish in
his Spanish F4 debut, quickly established himself as one to watch. He captured
the 2022 British F4 Championship title and finished as runner-up in the Italian
F4 Championship the same year.
In 2023, he impressed further with a strong GB3 campaign—securing five wins
and eight podiums en route to second in the championship. He also made his
debut at the prestigious Macau Grand Prix, finishing second in the Qualifying
Race.
