Collaboration to introduce Plaza Premium First standards to Saudi Arabia

Red Sea International Airport (RSI) has announced an exciting new partnership with Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a global leader in airport hospitality, to manage premium services at the airport. This collaboration will introduce Plaza Premium First standards to Saudi Arabia for the first time, further solidifying RSI’s status as a world-class airport that merges efficiency with exceptional hospitality.

PPG will oversee a variety of premium services, including four luxurious lounges for passengers, five food and beverage outlets, and seven dining areas for airport staff. Notably, the airport’s premium departure lounges will feature a fully à la carte dining experience, providing travelers with a high-end dining experience as the final touchpoint of their journey.

The design of RSI takes inspiration from the desert’s natural beauty, the serenity of an oasis, and the vastness of the sea, aiming to offer a tranquil and stress-free experience from the moment passengers arrive. The terminal’s architecture also evokes the exclusive feel of a private aircraft terminal, with intimate spaces ensuring a personalized and luxurious experience for all travelers.

Additionally, the lounges and F&B outlets will be thoughtfully designed to reflect the sustainable and high-end ethos of The Red Sea destination.

RSI, developed by Red Sea Global, serves as the main gateway to The Red Sea destination, which welcomed its first guests in 2023. With five hotels now open, RSI is located within three hours’ flight from 250 million people and eight hours’ flight from 85% of the world’s population. Domestic flights began in September 2023, with international flights commencing in April 2024, including a twice-weekly route between The Red Sea and Dubai International.
