Pakistan is urging its entrepreneurs to capitalize on the business opportunities presented by Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to reduce the Kingdom's dependence on oil by developing sectors like health, education, tourism, and infrastructure.

Speaking to a delegation of food exporters in Riyadh, Saif Ur Rehman, coordinator to the federal tax ombudsman, emphasized the “transformative potential” of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and urged Pakistani entrepreneurs to explore new markets and forge partnerships in the Kingdom. He highlighted how the initiative offers an ideal platform for Pakistani businesses to expand and contribute to the economic development of both countries.

Rehman encouraged entrepreneurs to actively participate in trade exhibitions, business forums, and networking events in Saudi Arabia to build lasting relationships and access new opportunities. He also reiterated the Pakistani government’s commitment to supporting these ventures through policy initiatives and diplomatic efforts.

“By seizing these opportunities, Pakistani entrepreneurs can play a key role in strengthening bilateral relations, driving economic growth, and uncovering untapped collaboration opportunities between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia,” said Rehman.

Pakistan and Saudi Arabia share a robust relationship, cooperating across various sectors including defense, trade, agriculture, and livestock. The Pakistani community in Saudi Arabia, which numbers over 2 million, remains one of the Kingdom’s largest migrant groups and is a vital source of remittances to Pakistan. As Saudi Arabia modernizes its economy, there is an increasing demand for skilled labor, providing new opportunities for Pakistan’s workforce.
