Piling work is nearing completion at Module 46 (M46) of The Line, the revolutionary linear city under development at NEOM in northwestern Saudi Arabia, according to Giles Pendleton, Chief Operating Officer of The Line.

In a recent LinkedIn update (NEOM is real part 21), Pendleton shared progress details on the ongoing construction of four modules (45 to 48) of the project.

The piling work has involved driving over 5,500 piles per module, reaching depths of up to 70 meters, and using more than 3.5 million cubic meters of concrete across Phase One.

Pendleton also posted a video update, which included drone footage of the site, providing a glimpse of the ongoing developments in various modules and the marina area.

Located along the Red Sea coast in Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk Province, NEOM spans a planned area of 26,500 square kilometers—approximately the size of Belgium. Last month, NEOM unveiled plans for the Hidden Marina, the first segment of The Line. This 2.5-kilometer-long development will have a built-up area of over 21 million square meters and rise 500 meters high.
