Saudi Arabia’s Sindalah Island becomes first tangible showcase of Neom
The NEOM Board of Directors has
officially launched Sindalah, a new luxury travel destination in the Red Sea,
marking a significant milestone in the ambitious NEOM development project.
First announced by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in December 2022, Sindalah
represents the first tangible showcase of NEOM's vision.
Transforming Sindalah from concept
to reality has involved a comprehensive two-year effort, employing a peak
workforce of 30,000 and collaborating with four local contracting partners and
around 60 subcontractors.
This momentous opening aligns with
Saudi Arabia's tourism goals under Vision 2030 and underscores NEOM's
commitment to creating innovative destinations. To commemorate the occasion,
Sindalah welcomed its first guests to experience the island's unique offerings.
