Sindalah Marina has received the esteemed 5-Gold Anchor Accreditation from The Yacht Harbour Association (TYHA), affirming its status as a premier yachting destination. Located off the coast of NEOM in northwest Saudi Arabia, Sindalah Marina is the first marina in the Kingdom to achieve this distinguished recognition.

“This award signifies a pivotal moment in Sindalah Marina’s journey towards becoming an iconic destination for Saudi Arabia’s yachting community. We are proud to operate the marina and to collaborate with NEOM in reaching this rigorous industry standard,” said Steven English, CEO of IGY Marinas.

The accreditation process involved a comprehensive audit assessing various aspects, including ambiance, policies, services, environmental initiatives, and infrastructure.

Daniel Chamberlain, General Manager of Sindalah Marina, noted, “This remarkable achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our marina team, the vision of NEOM, and the expertise provided by IGY. The 5-Gold Anchor status confirms that Sindalah ranks among the finest marinas worldwide.”

Sindalah Marina boasts 86 berths and 75 offshore buoys, accommodating yachts up to 180 meters in length. Positioned in the Red Sea, it is poised to become a key superyacht hub, offering luxury amenities such as the Sindalah Beach Club, Sindalah Yacht Club, Sindalah Sports Club, and Sindalah Golf Club. Visitors can also enjoy a diverse culinary scene with venues featuring renowned chefs from Michelin-starred establishments.

Chris Leroy, Operations Manager at Sindalah Marina, remarked, “Sindalah Marina seamlessly integrates into NEOM and the IGY global network as a premier yachting destination. The exceptional support from the broader NEOM teams has been vital in achieving the demanding 5-Gold Anchor criteria.”

Scheduled to open later this year, Sindalah Marina is the sixth facility in IGY’s global network to earn this high-level accreditation, joining esteemed locations like IGY Yacht Club Isle de Sol, Marina Cabo San Lucas, Rodney Bay Marina, St. Katharine Docks, and Yacht Haven Grande St. Thomas.
