Saudi Arabia is set to
unveil the inaugural island golf course within the Gulf Cooperation Council
(GCC) region on Sindalah Island, located in the Red Sea as part of the
extensive $500 billion Neom project. The beachfront golf course, consisting of
nine holes, is scheduled for a grand opening in 2024.
Recently, Neom
announced a collaboration with IMG Golf Course Services, a Singapore-based
enterprise renowned for its expertise in golf course design and management for
prestigious clubs worldwide.
IMG Golf Course
Services is assigned the responsibility of orchestrating pre-opening
arrangements, marketing efforts, and overall management services for the golf
club situated on Sindalah Island.
Spanning a vast area

distinctive experience tailored for amateurs, young golf enthusiasts, seasoned
players, and professionals alike. Featuring nine holes and 18 teeing points,
the course also encompasses a 280-meter driving range. Additionally, visitors
will have the opportunity to refine their skills within golf practice suites,
equipped with cutting-edge ball tracking technology and statistical feedback

To ensure
environmental and social accountability, the golf course will be GEO certified.
Antoni Vives, the
Chief Urban Development and Islands Officer at Neom, remarked, "Sindalah
will be the first physical showcase of Neom to open to the world and will
become a new and exotic golfing destination like no other. We are proud to be
working with IMG Golf Course Services to bring this premium course from the
mind of Robert Trent Jones Jr to reality at Sindalah."
Russell Hannah, Vice
President of IMG Golf Course Services, expressed enthusiasm about partnering
with Neom and Sindalah Island. He anticipates that their association with this
splendid endeavor will contribute to their extensive collection of world-class

aligning with Neom's vision, will evolve into one of the most scenic courses in
the region.
Sindalah, situated in
the Red Sea, is an opulent island retreat taking shape as part of Saudi Crown
Prince Mohammed bin Salman's ambitious Neom project valued at $500 billion.
Beyond the innovative golf course, Sindalah will encompass a yacht club, beach
club, wellness center, spa, over 51 luxury retail establishments, high-end
