NEOM unveils JLS Yachts as Yachting Partner for Sindalah Island Development

NEOM has officially disclosed its collaboration with JLS Yachts for the prestigious Sindalah island venture, set amidst the Red Sea waters.

Projected to launch in 2024, Sindalah Island occupies a prime location within the expanse of the Red Sea, positioned off the northwestern shores of Saudi Arabia. Envisioned as NEOM's debut destination for tourists, Sindalah promises an extravagant lifestyle encounter for its guests.

In NEOM's assortment of 41 islands, Sindalah stands apart for hosting a world-renowned yachting ecosystem comprising over 5,000 berths. Operating from its base within the island's marina, the agency will extend an extensive array of premium services dedicated to the convenience and pleasure of the yachting community. These encompass berthing, provisioning, bunkering, customs clearance, transportation, and travel arrangements.

JLS Yachts' appointment as NEOM's secondary official yachting collaborator comes subsequent to the revelation in June that Monaco-headquartered BWA Yachting would be establishing a presence at the Sindalah marina.

Leveraging its reputation for exceptional service and its well-established influence within the Arabian Gulf region and the Indian Ocean, JLS Yachts will contribute its regional prowess to Sindalah, primed to receive the world's most discerning clientele within the realm of superyachts throughout 2024.

Antoni Vives, Chief Urban Development at NEOM, commented, "Sindalah will epitomize an elevated realm of flawless luxury, inviting the global yachting community to a novel seasonal haven amidst the majestic Red Sea waters. JLS Yachts is a partner that will help materialize the audacious vision of Sindalah as we invite the world to witness the tangible showcase of NEOM."

With a core team of 34 experts, boasting a collective experience exceeding 130 years in marine operations, JLS Yachts' specialized personnel are fully equipped to attend to every facet of superyacht maritime requirements. The company also provides comprehensive training programs to nurture the forthcoming generation of yacht enthusiasts, captains, and crew.

JLS Yacht Training Institute serves as a Recognized Training Center designated to provide the suite of courses offered by the Royal Yachting Association.

Captain Stephan Corbett, CEO at JLS Yachts, expressed, "We are immensely delighted and honored to be chosen as a pivotal partner for NEOM's splendid Sindalah Island, situated along Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coastline. With our fresh operational bases established in Jeddah and Riyadh, we gain substantial exposure and avenues to serve our VVIP proprietors, captains, and crew. As the largest and most seasoned superyacht agency in the Middle East and the northern Indian Ocean, we are eagerly anticipating presenting our distinct and rewarding services to the Red Sea and beyond."

Meanwhile, in the blueprints for the hotel facilities, Four Seasons is set to inaugurate a resort on NEOM's opulent Sindalah Island. The futuristic Four Seasons Resort Sindalah Island joins an ensemble of Marriott-operated properties that have also been unveiled for the ambitious mega-project.

Sindalah Island is poised to offer 413 ultra-premium hotel chambers, alongside 333 top-tier serviced apartments, in addition to 51 luxury retail boutiques.

In terms of yachting amenities, an 86-berth marina will be established, complemented by 75 offshore buoys designed to house superyachts. A multitude of experiences, including snorkeling, kayaking, and scuba diving, will be on offer.

With dimensions spanning across 840,000 square meters, the island will boast a diverse range of 38 dining establishments, comprising nine premium casual venues and an additional nine fine dining options. Set to become the epicenter of the mega-project's yachting activities, plans are also underway for offshore yacht-focused food and beverage programming.
