NEOM joins hands with Saudi Broadcasting Authority to promote Saudi media  

The collaboration between NEOM's Media Industries Sector and the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) is set to invigorate the Kingdom's media sector, focusing on local content creation and talent development.

The partnership has already achieved notable success, exemplified by the local reality TV series “Unbreakable,” which is gearing up for its second season.

Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM, highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating, “This partnership is crucial for propelling us to regional and global prominence. We expect it to drive innovation, economic growth, and strengthen our cultural foundations, ultimately contributing to the evolution of the global media landscape.”

Under this strategic collaboration, the SBA will establish a continuous operational presence within the NEOM Media Hub. This setup will utilize NEOM's infrastructure, technology services, financial incentives, and regulatory support, attracting both regional and international productions.

Additionally, SBA and NEOM Industry Learning are jointly developing training programs aimed at the creative industries. These programs will offer hands-on experience in TV production, with 80 trainees set to graduate by 2025, fostering a new generation of Saudi media professionals.

Mohammed bin Fahad Al-Harthi, CEO of SBA, commented, “Our partnership with NEOM aligns perfectly with our vision. NEOM’s advanced infrastructure and focus on local talent development support SBA’s goal of creating authentic Saudi content with global reach and enhancing local expertise.”
