Former hotel executive appointed as Red Sea Global's Group Head of Hospitality  

Red Sea Global has appointed Sébastien Carre as the Group Head of Hospitality, signaling a strategic move to enhance Saudi Arabia's luxury tourism sector with his extensive industry knowledge. As the developer of transformative tourism destinations like The Red Sea and Amaala, Red Sea Global aims to elevate Saudi Arabia's global tourism standing under Mr. Carre's leadership.

With over 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Sébastien Carre, a VATEL Hospitality & Tourism Business School graduate, has held prominent leadership roles across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, and Pacific Islands. His diverse experience showcases his proficiency in steering operations in dynamic markets.

In his new role, Mr. Carre will spearhead the hospitality function for all Red Sea Global destinations and self-operated properties, aligning with the company's vision to position Saudi Arabia at the forefront of global tourism. John Pagano, Group CEO at Red Sea Global, expressed confidence in Mr. Carre's ability to lead as the company transitions from developing to operating a collection of luxury hospitality properties.

Prior to joining Red Sea Global, Sébastien Carre served as the Regional Vice President at Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, overseeing properties in various international locations. His track record includes a successful reinvention of the brand's presence in Mauritius, achieving record-breaking results during his tenure.

The strategic addition of Mr. Carre to the Red Sea Global team underscores the company's commitment to attracting top-tier talent for driving innovation and success in the hospitality sector. Red Sea Global plans to recruit over 700 hospitality professionals in the coming 12 months, emphasizing its dedication to creating unparalleled experiences and setting new benchmarks in luxury hospitality excellence.

As The Red Sea welcomed its first guests in 2023, Red Sea Global anticipates the opening of Desert Rock, Thuwal Private Retreat, and Shebara this year. Amaala remains on track to welcome its first guests in 2025, marking significant milestones in the realization of transformative tourism projects, including Corallium and the iconic Yacht Club.
