Wadi Safar project in Diriyah: A strategic alignment with Saudi
Vision 2030 goals
The Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) took a
significant stride towards realizing Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 goals with the
unveiling of the Wadi Safar project at the Bashayer event. This announcement,
graced by esteemed guests, introduced the Wadi Safar gated community, set to
transform into an urban oasis within Riyadh, featuring prestigious resorts such
as Six Senses, Aman, and Oberoi.
Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of DGDA, highlighted the exceptional
quality of these resorts, slated to open in the coming years. He acknowledged
the pivotal role of Greg Norman, CEO of LIV Golf, in the creation of a
visionary 27-hole championship golf course, endorsed by His Excellency Yasir
Al-Rumayyan, the governor of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund. The event
also showcased an exhibit by Argentine Polo player Nacho Figueras,
commemorating the Royal Diriyah Equestrian and Polo Club's launch.

Aligned with Vision 2030's ambition to position Saudi Arabia
as a global travel destination, DGDA has successfully merged sustainable
projects with cultural preservation, exemplified by the triumph of Al-Bujairi
Terrace, a popular tourist attraction since its inception.
Six Senses Southern Dunes, paying homage to Nabataean
architectural heritage, led the way as the first hotel to operate at the Red
Sea project. Neil Jacobs, CEO of Six Senses, stressed the significance of
contextual design, ensuring guests feel a profound connection to local culture
