Saudi Arabia’s Dur hospitality becomes a member of UNWTO
Dur Hospitality, a prominent Saudi hospitality company, has
officially joined the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).
Dur Hospitality's membership application was approved during
the 25th session of the UNWTO General Assembly, which recently took place in
Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

This strategic move underlines Dur Hospitality's commitment
to enhancing global cooperation in tourism and advancing Saudi Arabia's tourism
sector in alignment with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 for tourism
transformation, focusing on sustainable tourism practices.
The company has been consistently integrating eco-conscious
practices into its existing projects and future developments, with a focus on
harmonizing with the environment, responsible hospitality practices, renewable
energy utilization, e-waste recycling, and the use of recycled materials.
The Marriott Riyadh Hotel, Diplomatic Quarter, earned the
prestigious Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold
certification, marking it as the first hotel in Saudi Arabia to achieve this
distinction.
Sultan Bader Al-Otaibi, CEO of Dur Hospitality, commented on
this milestone, saying, "We are delighted to announce Dur Hospitality's
membership in the United Nations World Tourism Organization. This step
