World Tourism Organization, marking a significant stride toward enhancing
global tourism within the Kingdom, according to a report by the Saudi Press
Agency.
The company stated that its affiliation with the UNWTO will
bolster its engagement in the tourism industry, aligning with international
standards of ethical tourism. This move also positions it to play a crucial
role in shaping the future of tourism in the Kingdom, with the ultimate aim of
establishing Diriyah as a prominent global cultural destination.

The primary focus of the Diriyah Company lies in sustainable
urban development, making it one of the Kingdom's foremost organizations
dedicated to increasing the tourism sector's contribution to the national
economy, with a target of raising it from 3.2 percent to 10 percent by 2030.
Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of the Diriyah Group, highlighted the
significance of the company's UNWTO membership as a pivotal moment in
presenting Diriyah's rich culture and history to the world. He emphasized that
this partnership enables Diriyah to share the Kingdom's cultural heritage with
the global community.
