Diriyah, the birthplace of Saudi kingdom, celebrates Saudi National Day
As Saudi Arabia marks its 94th
National Day, Diriyah, the birthplace of the Kingdom's founding, has taken
center stage in celebrations. Known for its deep historical significance,
Diriyah, particularly the UNESCO World Heritage Site At-Turaif, has been
transformed into a bustling cultural hub. Visitors are treated to traditional
performances of samri and ardah, along with live poetry recitals
that capture the spirit of Saudi heritage.
Diriyah stands as a symbol of King
Abdulaziz’s legacy, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia. This historic site
reflects the Kingdom’s national pride and unity, having been the starting point
of its unification. Today, it serves as a global symbol of culture and history.

Diriyah Gate Development Authority and the King Abdulaziz Foundation, or Darah,
has brought forth a series of cultural sessions. These sessions explore stories

captivated visitors with an immersive exhibition blending history and
technology. Through compelling storytelling, the exhibit provides a unique look
