Enowa, the innovative energy and water company behind Saudi Arabia's groundbreaking NEOM project, has achieved a remarkable feat in its commitment to sustainable development. They have successfully piloted the utilization of helicopters for constructing high-voltage transmission line towers, a significant stride toward realizing a 100% renewable energy system within the NEOM region.

Conventionally, erecting transmission towers entails the creation of carbon-intensive access roads to facilitate the movement of trucks, cranes, and heavy machinery. However, Enowa has ingeniously circumvented this requirement by employing helicopters. These aerial marvels airlift the tower components to the base of NEOM's mountainous transmission towers, where assembly takes place. In doing so, Enowa underscores its unwavering dedication to eco-conscious construction practices.

Additionally, Jumanah Almurdhi, Project Engineer, notes that this approach not only furthers sustainable development but also expedites tower delivery compared to traditional crane-based methods.
