Red Sea Global forms partnership
with World Travel & Tourism Council
Red Sea Global (RSG)
has entered into a significant partnership with the World Travel & Tourism
Council (WTTC), becoming a destination partner. This collaboration enables RSG
to share knowledge and exchange best practices with a network of industry
leaders and experts who share a common vision for a more sustainable future in
tourism.
Tracy Lanza, Group
Head of Global Brand and Marketing at Red Sea Global, highlighted the
significance of this partnership: "As we welcome our inaugural guests to
The Red Sea destination this year, our collaboration with WTTC serves as a
window to showcase the world the beauty, diversity, and cultural heritage of
the Saudi Arabian Red Sea coast."
Lanza added, "Our
commitment extends beyond sustainability at The Red Sea and Amaala, aiming for
a positive, regenerative impact on both the environment and society. This
partnership not only allows us to demonstrate our achievements, but also to
highlight that there's a superior approach to development and operation,
inspiring others to embrace regenerative tourism for the betterment of people
and the planet."
Beyond knowledge
exchange, this partnership grants RSG access to WTTC's annual Economic Impact
Research encompassing over 185 countries and 26 global regions. Moreover, RSG
will play a pivotal role in key WTTC initiatives including Travel &
Mobility, Sustainable Future, and Digital Transformation.
Julia Simpson, WTTC

and WTTC's mission: "By welcoming Red Sea Global as a valued member, the
World Travel & Tourism Council reinforces our shared dedication to a more
sustainable and regenerative future. Red Sea Global's commitment to uplifting communities,
boosting economies, and preserving the environment harmoniously resonates with
WTTC's core ethos. Together, we will lead the way in a journey where
innovation, responsibility, and prosperity converge, creating destinations that
not only captivate but actively enrich the lives of all stakeholders."
The anticipated impact
of The Red Sea and Amaala destinations includes the generation of 120,000 job
opportunities and the reception of up to 1.5 million tourists annually. These
developments are poised to invigorate local economies while fostering
sustainable growth. The emphasis on regenerative tourism practices ensures the
conservation of the natural beauty and resources of these regions for
generations to come.
