IGY Marinas to develop
and manage Sindalah Island’s marina in Neom
Sindalah Island in
NEOM, located in northwest Saudi Arabia, has appointed IGY Marinas, a renowned
global network of luxury marinas, as the operator responsible for developing
and managing the island's marina. Positioned as a gateway to the Red Sea,
Sindalah aims to become the nearest ultra-premium superyacht marina to Europe
and the Mediterranean.
The marina is expected to attract the attention of the global yachting community, offering 86 berths for yachts up to 50 meters in length, as well as additional serviced offshore buoys for superyachts up to 180 meters.
Antoni Vives, the head of urban development at NEOM, expressed confidence in Sindalah's exceptional location, remarkable amenities, and stunning natural landscapes, highlighting its potential to become one of the world's most captivating and vibrant yachting destinations.
The collaboration with IGY Marinas marks an essential step
towards realizing NEOM's vision of transforming the global yachting calendar,
with NEOM conveniently located within a day's cruising distance from the
Mediterranean Sea.
Once operational, the
marina at Sindalah will become part of IGY's international network of 23
superyacht marinas spanning 12 countries, establishing itself as the sole
network of its kind worldwide. Sindalah will also join IGY's superyacht
membership program, IGY Trident.

The inclusion of NEOM into the IGY platform will

Sindalah is scheduled
to open to guests in the first quarter of 2024, becoming the inaugural region
within NEOM to welcome visitors.
