IGY Marinas to develop and manage Sindalah Island’s marina in Neom

Sindalah Island in NEOM, located in northwest Saudi Arabia, has appointed IGY Marinas, a renowned global network of luxury marinas, as the operator responsible for developing and managing the island's marina. Positioned as a gateway to the Red Sea, Sindalah aims to become the nearest ultra-premium superyacht marina to Europe and the Mediterranean.

The marina is expected to attract the attention of the global yachting community, offering 86 berths for yachts up to 50 meters in length, as well as additional serviced offshore buoys for superyachts up to 180 meters.

Antoni Vives, the head of urban development at NEOM, expressed confidence in Sindalah's exceptional location, remarkable amenities, and stunning natural landscapes, highlighting its potential to become one of the world's most captivating and vibrant yachting destinations.

The collaboration with IGY Marinas marks an essential step towards realizing NEOM's vision of transforming the global yachting calendar, with NEOM conveniently located within a day's cruising distance from the Mediterranean Sea.

Once operational, the marina at Sindalah will become part of IGY's international network of 23 superyacht marinas spanning 12 countries, establishing itself as the sole network of its kind worldwide. Sindalah will also join IGY's superyacht membership program, IGY Trident.

Tom Mukamal, CEO of IGY Marinas, expressed enthusiasm for the alignment between Sindalah and IGY's global vision of connecting remarkable yachting destinations through their expanding marina network.

The inclusion of NEOM into the IGY platform will provide unparalleled destinations, services, and convenience for superyacht owners, captains, and charter guests. Mukamal eagerly anticipates promoting this incredible new destination to the international yachting community.

Sindalah is scheduled to open to guests in the first quarter of 2024, becoming the inaugural region within NEOM to welcome visitors.
