AMAALA Yacht Club formally opens to promote yachting, sailing and marine tourism
AMAALA
Yacht Club has officially begun operations, marking a significant step in
Saudi Arabia’s efforts to establish its Red Sea coast as an international
destination for luxury yachting, sailing and marine tourism.
Developed by Red Sea
Global (RSG), the yacht club is located within AMAALA Marina Village and is
now welcoming founding members and visiting yachts to the destination.
Positioned approximately 2,000 nautical miles from Monaco,
AMAALA Yacht Club is being positioned as a winter cruising destination for the
international yachting community. The location offers an alternative to
traditional winter routes to the Caribbean and Indian Ocean, while providing
access to the Red Sea and routes toward the wider Indian Ocean.
“The AMAALA Yacht Club marks the emergence of a truly global
yachting destination, offering unparalleled access to the stunning Saudi Red
Sea coast,” said John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global. “More than a
world-class facility, it brings together luxury, wellness, and regenerative
tourism in a way that is unique anywhere in the world.”

superyachts exceeding 100 metres in length. The marina is designed to provide
comprehensive marine services, with additional maintenance and repair
facilities planned for future development.
The 7,900-square-metre yacht club serves as a central hub for
AMAALA’s maritime community, offering facilities and services for residents, yacht
owners and visiting guests.
Members and visitors have access to a range of dining and social
venues, including AMAALA Lounge, ANQA, 27°C and The Deck. The club also
features a rooftop swimming pool, private meeting suites and dedicated spaces
for events and social gatherings.
The AMAALA Yacht Club Academy will offer sailing programmes and
watersports activities designed to accommodate participants across different
ages and experience levels.
Expanding
Saudi Arabia’s Sailing Calendar
The opening of the yacht club is also expected to strengthen
Saudi Arabia’s role in international sailing and yachting.
AMAALA Yacht Club is scheduled to serve as a key venue for the
Grand Finale of The Ocean Race 2027, one of the world’s major offshore sailing
competitions. The club is also expected to host international yachting events
throughout the year.
Yacht club members and guests will have access to luxury resorts
across AMAALA, including Four Seasons, Six Senses, Rosewood, Equinox and
Nammos. Additional resorts are scheduled to open in the coming months.
The destination combines luxury hospitality with wellness
facilities, watersports, cultural programmes, art installations and social
venues as part of AMAALA’s broader positioning as an ultra-luxury tourism
destination.

Architecture
and Renewable Energy

from the geological formations of the Red Sea coastline. Its architectural

traditional Arabian architecture.
The facility has also been designed as a long-term gathering
point for the international sailing and yachting community.
In line with Red Sea Global’s wider sustainability strategy,
AMAALA Yacht Club is powered entirely by renewable energy. The approach forms
part of the developer’s broader focus on regenerative tourism and
environmentally responsible development.
