Saudi Arabia: Dar Global awards contract for ultra-luxury community in Diriyah
Dar Global, the London-listed luxury real estate developer, has awarded a SAR 338 million (approximately $90 million) design-and-build contract to Compass and Bin Omairah Company for infrastructure works at its Rayana development in Wadi Safar, Diriyah, marking a key milestone in one of Saudi Arabia’s most exclusive residential projects.
The contract covers the delivery of core infrastructure for the ultra-luxury community, including earthworks, road networks, utility systems, and access infrastructure that will support the wider residential development.
Foundational works for a high-end residential enclave
Located in Wadi Safar, one of Diriyah’s most prestigious districts in Riyadh, Rayana is being developed as a low-density, ultra-exclusive residential enclave designed around privacy, expansive living spaces, and integration with the surrounding natural landscape.
The newly awarded infrastructure package lays the groundwork for the project’s premium residential offerings, including Rayana Mansions and branded Trump Mansions, which will form the centerpiece of the community.

Residences in the development are expected to range from approximately 1,900 square meters to 7,000 square meters, reflecting the project’s focus on large-scale luxury living.

Dar Global CEO Ziad El Chaar said the contract award represents a significant step forward in the execution of the Rayana project and underscores the company’s long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia’s high-end residential market.
“This represents an important step forward in the delivery of Rayana and reinforces our commitment to creating exceptional residential destinations in Saudi Arabia,” El Chaar said. “Rayana has been conceived around privacy, scale and a highly curated lifestyle experience.”
He added that the milestone reflects strong momentum in the project’s development and confidence in continued growth within the Kingdom’s luxury real estate sector.

The Rayana development aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives, which aim to expand the Kingdom’s real estate and lifestyle offerings while attracting both domestic and international investment into large-scale destination projects.
