Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global announces opening of ADRENA adventure district

Adrena is positioned just 20 minutes from Shura Island’s resorts

Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global opens ADRENA offering 20 land and water-based experiences

Red Sea Global has announced the opening of ADRENA, a major new adventure and entertainment district at The Red Sea, offering more than 20 land and water-based experiences. Positioned just 20 minutes from Shura Island’s resorts and 30 minutes from Red Sea International Airport, the destination is designed as a vibrant hub for both adrenaline-fueled activities and social leisure.

At the heart of ADRENA is Saudi Arabia’s largest saltwater surf pool, stretching 215 metres and generating waves of up to 2.1 metres. The district also features wakeboarding facilities, snorkelling trails, and a six-metre-deep diving pool. Visitors can unwind at a beach club offering South American-inspired cuisine, alongside an infinity pool overlooking the Red Sea and live DJ entertainment.

On land, ADRENA delivers a wide range of attractions, including a skatepark, BMX pump track, beach sports zones, and an overwater zipline. The district is operated by Red Sea Sports & Entertainment Co. and incorporates a sustainable closed-loop seawater system that filters and recirculates water across its attractions.

ADRENA is open daily from 10am to 6pm, with day packages starting at SAR 500. Its launch marks another milestone in the ongoing expansion of The Red Sea destination, which currently features three resorts on Shura Island, with plans to grow to 11 by the end of 2026.
