New Murabba, a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company, has successfully concluded its participation in MIPIM 2026, held in Cannes, France, marking its third consecutive year at the renowned global real estate event. As part of the Saudi delegation at the Invest Saudi pavilion, New Murabba demonstrated Riyadh's ambitious vision for a transformative downtown.

Held from March 9 to 13 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, MIPIM is one of the world’s premier platforms for real estate and urban development, attracting over 20,000 delegates from 90 countries, alongside more than 300 pavilions.

At the event, New Murabba unveiled the future of Riyadh's downtown, emphasizing the scale and innovative design of the New Murabba development. Situated in the north-western part of Riyadh, this vast 14 million square meter destination ranks among the world’s largest purpose-built mixed-use developments.

The company also highlighted key elements of its masterplan, which promote sustainable urban living and wellbeing. These features include 25% green space, a “15-minute downtown” concept, and a multi-modal mobility network, incorporating metro links, pedestrian pathways, and flexible transportation options. With over 90,000 residential units designed to accommodate more than 280,000 residents, New Murabba is poised to attract millions of visitors annually.

A major highlight of the exhibition was The Mukaab, a landmark centerpiece of the development. Drawing inspiration from Salmani architecture, The Mukaab combines traditional Najdi elements with a striking golden façade. Spanning 400 meters in all directions, The Mukaab is envisioned as a vibrant hub for living, working, and recreation, powered by cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence, robotics, and holographic projections, to create immersive experiences.

New Murabba's participation in MIPIM 2026 underscores its ongoing commitment to fostering global collaboration and establishing a world-class urban experience, elevating Riyadh's status as a forward-thinking, sustainable metropolis.
