Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodríguez have further strengthened their connection to Saudi Arabia by purchasing luxury homes at one of the Kingdom’s most exclusive Red Sea retreats.

Red Sea Global, the developer behind the regenerative tourism destination on Saudi Arabia’s western coast, announced on Monday that the couple has acquired two ultra-luxury villas at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence.

Nujuma forms part of the Red Sea Residences collection, which comprises just 19 highly private villas set along pristine white beaches and surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Located nearly 26 kilometers offshore, the island is accessible only by chartered boat or seaplane, offering residents a rare level of seclusion.

Ronaldo and Rodríguez have visited the Red Sea destination several times since its first resorts opened. Commenting on the project, Ronaldo described it as “a truly remarkable place,” noting that both he and Georgina felt an immediate connection to its natural beauty and sense of tranquility.

The two villas purchased by the couple include a three-bedroom residence designed for family stays and a more intimate two-bedroom villa intended for private retreats.

The Red Sea destination is a cornerstone of Saudi Vision 2030, blending high-end tourism with a strong focus on environmental sustainability. The development is powered entirely by renewable energy and aims to achieve a 30 percent net conservation benefit for local ecosystems by 2040.
