Saudi Arabia invites bidders for high-speed rail project in Qiddiya

The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), alongside Qiddiya Investment Company and the National Centre for Privatization and PPP, has officially opened the bidding process for the Qiddiya High-Speed Rail project, a key component of Riyadh’s future transportation network.

In an announcement on X, the RCRC revealed that the Expression of Interest (EOI) phase for the ambitious rail project has begun. The rail system, designed to reach speeds of up to 250 km/h, will link King Salman International Airport, the King Abdullah Financial District, and the planned Qiddiya City, slashing travel times between these locations to just 30 minutes.
