Nemetschek Group to standardize Saudi construction sector 

The Nemetschek Group, a global leader in software solutions for the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AEC/O) industry, has announced a strategic partnership with buildingSMART Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s chapter of buildingSMART International. The collaboration aims to accelerate the adoption of open Building Information Modeling (openBIM) and international digital standards across Saudi Arabia’s construction and infrastructure sectors.

Aligned with Vision 2030, the initiative supports national objectives in sustainability, innovation, and economic diversification. Under the agreement, both organizations will identify pilot projects to implement Nemetschek’s solutions, enhancing project efficiency, safety, and cost control.

The partnership also includes the co-development of professional certification programs, training workshops, and advanced BIM courses tailored to the Saudi market. In addition, advisory services will be introduced to support ESG-focused practices, green building initiatives, and digitally enabled project delivery.
