Investindustrial and Saudi Fund become partners to bolster Vision 2030 goals
Investindustrial has partnered with
Saudi Arabia’s Industrial Development Fund Investment Company (SIC) in a
landmark agreement aimed at accelerating the Kingdom’s industrial growth in
line with Vision 2030. The collaboration marks SIC’s first investment in an
international private equity fund and signals a significant step toward
integrating global expertise into the local industrial ecosystem.
The announcement was made in Riyadh,
with prominent institutional representatives in attendance, including the
Italian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement, SIC will allocate
capital to a fund managed by Investindustrial, a leading European private
equity firm known for its focus on industrial innovation.

The partnership is designed to
channel global institutional capital and operational know-how into high-impact
sectors such as automation, advanced machinery, medical devices, and consumer products.
A key focus will be on strengthening local innovation, integrating Saudi SMEs
into Investindustrial’s value chains, and promoting long-term industrial
sustainability within the Kingdom.
