Alula workshop explores safe use of pesticides

The workshop, titled Safe Handling of Palm and Date Pest Pesticides, was held on Friday in AlUla Governorate. Organized by the National Center for Palms and Dates in collaboration with the Royal Commission for AlUla, the event took place at the Commission's agricultural sector headquarters.

Targeting farm owners, agricultural workers, and others with an interest in the sector, the workshop focused on educating attendees about the safe use of pesticides. Its goal was to improve pest control methods while boosting agricultural productivity, ensuring both high-quality production and environmental safety.

This workshop is part of a series of ongoing guidance programs and workshops organized by the National Center for Palms and Dates throughout the year. These initiatives are spread across various regions of the Kingdom and are aimed at supporting the growth of the agricultural sector while promoting sustainable practices.
