Quality of Life Program and Vision 2030

Tourism development is another significant priority, along with improving living conditions for expatriates. The program aims to create one million direct jobs in the tourism sector by 2030, contributing 10% to the national GDP. Khalid bin Abdullah AlBaker, CEO of the Quality of Life Program, emphasized the importance of sustainability and continuous improvement in these efforts.

The program also sets ambitious tourism targets, aiming to attract 100 million visitors by 2023 and 150 million by 2030. This expected growth is projected to unlock substantial investment opportunities in the tourism sector. Since the launch of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia has already seen notable progress in this area.

To achieve these targets, the program is implementing over 170 initiatives with the involvement of 17 executive bodies. Progress is measured through periodic evaluations, tracked quarterly, semi-annually, or annually depending on the nature of the objectives. These evaluations ensure the program's goals are being met effectively and on schedule.
