NEOM awards port road works contract to Hassan Allam Unit
Hassan Allam Holding, a leading engineering and
construction group in the region, has announced that its subsidiary, Hassan
Allam Roads & Bridges, has been awarded the contract for the roads and
paving works at the Port of NEOM in Saudi Arabia’s groundbreaking mega-city
project.
Situated in Oxagon, the advanced and sustainable industries cluster in northwest Saudi Arabia, the Port of NEOM will serve as the primary seaport for the region. Once completed, it is expected to handle up to 12 million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units).

The contract encompasses the supply and
application of pavement across various zones, covering a total area of 375,000
square meters. This work forms a crucial part of the rapidly developing
infrastructure within Oxagon, which is poised to become a global hub for
advanced industries and sustainable technologies.
