Saudi Arabia: Diriyah launches Media & Innovation District  

Diriyah Company has announced the launch of its Media & Innovation District, a landmark development within its $63.2 billion masterplan. Unveiled at MIPIM in Cannes, the district aims to position Diriyah as a global hub for media networks, creative agencies, and technology firms.

A Hub for Innovation and Creativity

Designed to foster collaboration and cutting-edge advancements, the district will feature:

  • 250,000 sq. meters of office space for global media and tech firms
  • 450 luxury residences
  • 15,000 sq. meters of retail and high-end dining options
  • 1 Hotel Diriyah – the Middle East debut of the renowned eco-conscious hospitality brand

Strategically located near the 20,000-seat Diriyah Arena, the district is a key element of Diriyah’s second-phase urban expansion, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 for economic and cultural transformation.

Part of Diriyah’s Grand Vision

Situated on the outskirts of Riyadh, Diriyah is one of Saudi Arabia’s five giga-projects, backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF). The full masterplan includes:

  • 1.6 million sq. meters of office space
  • 566,000 sq. meters of retail
  • 40+ hotels and 18,000 residences

Upon completion, Diriyah will house over 100,000 residents, create 178,000 jobs, and contribute $18.6 billion to Saudi Arabia’s GDP.
