NASCAR is exploring the possibility of hosting a race at the upcoming
Qiddiya racing circuit in Saudi Arabia. The venue, which could open as early as
2028, is part of NASCAR's broader strategy to expand its international
presence.
While no formal agreement is in place yet, the interest in a Saudi race
aligns with NASCAR's recent efforts to diversify its schedule. The American auto racing company has
been increasingly willing to send its top drivers to compete internationally,
including an upcoming race weekend in Mexico City next season. NASCAR is also
looking to establish a race in Canada, though negotiations have yet to be
finalized.
