The relocation of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix from the Jeddah Corniche Circuit to Qiddiya signifies a broader initiative towards sports development.

Whitaker emphasizes the comprehensive approach taken to ensure the project's success, accommodating diverse sporting activities. He emphasizes the administration's dedication to fulfilling commitments, drawing a contrast with past projects that faltered due to cost concerns, like the South Korea GP project in Mokpo.

In an interview with RacingNews365, Whitaker underscores the expansive nature of the project, describing Qiddiya as more than just a racing venue but a sprawling city.
