Sascha Berger appointed as NEOM's
Investment Director for Biotech
Sascha Berger has been appointed as
the Investment Director for Biotech at NEOM, the ambitious special economic
zone in Saudi Arabia.
In his new role, Berger will be
responsible for shaping NEOM’s global investment strategy in the biotech and
medtech sectors. While based in Saudi Arabia, his role encompasses a global
scope.

On LinkedIn, Berger expressed his
enthusiasm: “NEOM is not just a place but a visionary project aimed at becoming
a hub for innovation and sustainable living. I’m thrilled to contribute to this
mission by driving strategic investments in the life sciences sector.”
Berger will work closely with Jordi
Naval, who leads NEOM’s biotech initiatives, and will also collaborate with the
NEOM Investment Fund (NIF), the strategic investment arm of NEOM. Within NIF,
he will engage with Babar Kahn, a prominent advocate for biotech investments.
