Neom Bay Airport to get smart gates for enhanced security
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior has announced the launch of the Smart Gates Project at Neom Bay Airport.
This
initiative, a collaboration between the General Directorate of Passports, the
Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA), and Neom, aims to
streamline passenger procedures by incorporating biometric data scans at
self-service kiosks.
The Smart Gates Project is part of
Saudi Arabia’s larger strategy to enhance the quality of life in its cities
through advanced digital solutions. By simplifying the airport experience, the
project represents a significant step toward making travel more efficient and
user-friendly.
