Saudi Arabia is propelling its tourism sector into exponential growth by introducing the Qiddiya Gaming & Esports District, a multifaceted gaming and eSports hub designed to draw in gaming enthusiasts from around the world.

Set to become a magnet for gaming tourism, this innovative neighborhood will feature a range of dedicated eSports venues, themed hotels, and training facilities catering to up to 20 eSports teams. Its inaugural event, The Esports World Cup, has already been slated for this summer from July to August, showcasing major tournaments in popular titles such as StarCraft II, Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Garena Free Fire, following a three-year partnership agreement with Qiddiya.

Through innovative alliances and the development of world-class infrastructure, Qiddiya City is poised to emerge as a global nexus for gaming and entertainment."

This initiative builds upon the momentum generated by the Kingdom's announcement last December, unveiling plans for a groundbreaking mixed-use gaming and eSports district within Qiddiya City. Positioned as a pivotal move to establish Saudi Arabia as a leader in the gaming and eSports realm, this pioneering district aligns itself with the burgeoning global interest in these industries.

Located within Qiddiya City, this vibrant district will feature four dedicated eSports venues capable of hosting global events throughout the year, with a combined tournament seating capacity of 73,000. It aims to attract up to 10 million annual visitors, offering an immersive gaming experience like no other.
