Inspired by journeys across
Saudi Arabia, the artworks reflect a creative dialogue between different
generations. Artists from diverse backgrounds explore the relationship between
humanity and nature, addressing fundamental human needs such as water, food,
and healthcare, while also delving into historical narratives within a rapidly
changing country.
This edition of the biennale introduces 47 new artists, fostering artistic collaborations and displaying works in various locations such as roundabouts and cultural centers. Alongside the art exhibition, a series of meetings, workshops, film screenings, and research-based displays are organized, continuing over a year through the Biennale Meetings Series and the online "Learning Garden" platform.
