Riyadh
exhibition showcases THE LINE Experience
The Line remains a prominent topic of discussion as one of
the most ambitious mega projects. Prince and Chairman of the NEOM Board of
Directors, Mohammed bin Salman, introduced NEOM to the world in 2017. Currently
under construction, NEOM is envisioned as a revolutionary urban development
covering a 170 km area, featuring interconnected communities and intended to be
home to over one million people worldwide.
NEOM's distinctive approach prioritizes environmental
sustainability, with the project designed to operate without roads, cars, or
emissions. It will rely on 100% renewable energy, reserving 95% of the land for
nature preservation. In a departure from traditional urban planning, NEOM
emphasizes the prioritization of people's health and well-being over
conventional transportation and infrastructure concerns.

Beyond The Line, NEOM unveiled several other construction
projects in 2023, such as Norlana, Utamo, Siranna, Epicon, and Leyja.
Anticipated announcements of additional projects from Saudi Arabia are expected
throughout the coming year.
