NEOM, the ambitious $500 billion giga-project in Saudi Arabia, has entered into a strategic partnership with Dive Butler International, a UK-based company, to enrich the aquatic and diving experiences on the luxurious island of Sindalah.

This collaboration, as highlighted in a press statement by NEOM, promises to offer visitors a premium experience both above and below the pristine waters of the Red Sea.

Under the terms of the agreement, Dive Butler will establish and operate a five-star Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) dive center on Sindalah. This facility will provide a diverse range of aquatic activities for visitors, ensuring an exceptional underwater adventure.

Furthermore, Dive Butler will introduce electric and hybrid vessels exclusively using environmentally friendly moorings, aligning with NEOM's commitment to sustainable practices.

Antoni Vives, NEOM's Chief Urban Development and Islands Officer, expressed his pride in this collaboration, stating, "We are proud to collaborate with Dive Butler International to provide our visitors with the opportunity to explore the marvels of Sindalah's waters and facilitate unique experiences across a multitude of marine activities."

He further emphasized Sindalah's unique position on the Red Sea coastline, offering a new and sustainable destination for cutting-edge underwater exploration experiences year-round.

Alexis Vincent, founder of Dive Butler International, believes that this partnership will provide visitors with an unparalleled marine experience. He expressed, "All Sindalah guests will have access to unique underwater excursions tailored to their preferences, ultimately giving them the best of marine exploration experiences."

Sindalah, set for a grand opening in 2024, is poised to become NEOM's premier tourism destination. This endeavor aligns with the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, focusing on diversifying the economy beyond oil. The National Tourism Strategy aims to attract 100 million visitors by 2030 while increasing the sector's contribution to the GDP to over 10 percent.

In addition to its partnership with Dive Butler International, NEOM previously appointed JLS Yachts as a key partner superyacht agency for Sindalah, aiming to establish the island as a sought-after destination for yachting enthusiasts worldwide.

Moreover, NEOM teamed up with IMG Golf Course Services to launch a nine-hole beachfront facility on Sindalah Island, further enhancing the island's recreational offerings.
