Saudi Arabia's Northwest. These locations collectively constitute the largest
sound stages and film production support facilities in the nation and the
surrounding region. The transaction was facilitated through JLG's Saudi Arabian
distributor, Cat rental store – Ejar.
NEOM
to become ‘epicenter’ of region’s media industry
These aerial work platforms mark NEOM Media's inaugural
investment in such equipment, with the decision to opt for JLG equipment being
influenced by its reputation for quality and the excellent track record of
Ejar. Additionally, the deal includes comprehensive maintenance contracts and
training programs for operators and service technicians.
Khaled Kamal, General Manager of Ejar, commented,
"Recognizing the importance of skilled operators, we provided extensive
support and customized training to ensure the seamless integration of these
battery-powered units into NEOM Media's operations. This achievement represents
a significant step towards sustainable innovation and underscores our
commitment to excellence, emphasizing our dedication to achieving zero
emissions."
Mohamad Lakis, representing JLG, stated, "The delivery
to the esteemed NEOM development is a strategic success for JLG and encompasses
our newly introduced electric Rough Terrain scissors."
Neom
Media Village allows access to second soundstage due to rising demand
NEOM is engaged in the development of four distinct resort
areas within Saudi Arabia, encompassing Marine landscapes along the Red Sea,
the Lower desert, Mountain terrain, and the Upper valley. The name
"NEOM" is derived from the Greek prefix "neo," signifying
new, combined with the Arabic term "Mustaqbal," meaning future. This
ambitious NEOM project is backed by an investment of $500 billion, a
collaborative effort involving Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, as well
as both local and international investors.
