Saudia to operate 20 extra flights between Riyadh, Jeddah and Red Sea destination
Saudi Arabia’s national carrier has announced
additional flights linking major cities with the Red Sea tourism destination
during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday period.
Saudia said it will operate 20 extra
flights between Riyadh, Jeddah, and the Red
Sea Destination. With the added services, the total number of flights on
these routes will rise to 44 during the holiday season.
The move is part of a joint initiative with the Saudi Tourism
Authority and Red Sea Global aimed at
promoting top tourism destinations across the Kingdom.
The Red Sea Destination is a major luxury tourism project on Saudi Arabia’s west coast, developed by Red Sea Global and backed by the country’s sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund. It forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader Saudi Vision 2030 plan to diversify the economy and expand tourism.
