Saudi Ministry of Industry and WEF sign agreement to advance industrial transformation

Saudi Arabia has reinforced its standing as a global leader in industrial development by signing a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources and the World Economic Forum (WEF) to advance national industrial transformation pathways.

Under the agreement, the parties will develop a scalable and structured model for industrial transformation by strengthening capabilities and building competencies across the Kingdom’s industrial ecosystem. This approach is intended to further position the Kingdom as a leading regional hub for industrial transformation.

The cooperation also seeks to accelerate industrial modernization and technology adoption through the development of a digital toolkit that supports organizations throughout their transformation journey.

In addition, the framework highlights the Kingdom’s leadership in adopting and advancing international best practices in industrial transformation, as well as its contribution to the global Lighthouse Operating System initiative.
